Childhood Vaccination Update
On the 10th of August 2026, the HSE advised us that all Children Born from 1st March 2026 to 31st August 2026 will be offered the RSV Vaccine. The research has shown that RSV vaccination prevents more than 80% of RSV infections and hospitalisations. If your child is born between March 1st 2026 and August 31st 2026 please indicate when booking your 2 month, 4 month or 6 month vaccination appointment if you wish your child to receive the RSV vaccine. Children born from 1st September will be offered Vaccination by the HSE before discharge from the maternity hospital. We will provide a link here as soon as further details is available so that you can make an informed decision about vaccination before booking a Vaccination Appointment.
